CPA & Certass
Improving your home can be expensive at the best of times, but when you have not properly looked into the contractor you are hiring you could be left high and dry, facing severe financial losses.
Don’t gamble and choose a contractor on hearsay alone, use the Consumer Protection Association to find an approved firm to carry out improvements to your property.
The CPA was established to fulfil two functions: to assist in the elimination of unscrupulous trades from the home improvement market and to protect the consumer by regulating and raising standards of operation.
Each and every CPA member is thoroughly checked and approved to ensure they meet the exacting standards of best practices within their chosen trade. Only then are they eligible to join the CPA membership scheme that requires them to display consistent craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
A CPA member is a highly skilled contractor that displays best trading practice standards and ultimate customer satisfaction on every job.
Not only is every member fully vetted in terms of litigation history checks, technical skills, trading records, financial position, quality of work, trading practices and customer service, but they are continually vetted by you the consumer.
All consumers who choose a CPA member are invited to fill out a works questionnaire that is submitted direct to us for independent checking. The information is collated and turned into statistical performance reports assessing levels of competency. Independent surveying enables our members to demonstrate to their customers they are indeed as good as they say they are.
